In the dystopian Chicago, the society is divided in five factions: Abnegation, Candor, Amity, Erudite, Dauntless. All the years, when the boys and girls are 16 years old, they do a ceremony to choose the faction. Beatrice has to choose between staying with her family or being who she really is. She take a decision that surprised everyone, including her. When she arrive to her faction, she decide change her name to Tris. But Tris has a secret, something that anybody know, because if the people know her secret, his life is going to be in danger.
In her faction, she know a boy, and she fall in love with him. But this is going to be a problem.Finaly she must know who are her friends, to choose what is more important.
